InsTuner is a great tuner for a beginning student. It turns different color the closer the students gets to the right note from red, to yellow, to green. I use it regularly with my string students.
Staffwars is a Star Wars inspired game where users can destroy notes by naming the correct name name. It can be played online for free or downloaded as an app for $0.99
Pitch Pipe+ is a must have app for any singer or a cappella group. Its $0.99 in the apple store.
